We are looking for a talented Lead Marine Engineer with expertise in Structural Stress Engineering to join a leading team focused on high-profile UK Defence programs. This role will allow you to lead a team in delivering innovative solutions in marine systems, ship design, and structural analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical deliverables related to marine seating, stress analysis, and ship design.
- Act as the main technical point of contact with customers and lead design workshops.
- Manage engineering tasks, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
- Oversee recruitment and development of a high-performing Marine Engineering team.
What We're Looking For:
- Broad experience in marine engineering and structural stress engineering.
- Strong proficiency in tools like ANSYS, NASTRAN, or ABAQUS for stress analysis.
- Familiarity with industry standards, including MIL-STD, ASME, or ISO.
- Proven leadership and technical management skills within a marine engineering or defence context.
