You will work in tandem with the class teachers as a primary teaching assistant to deliver crucial assistance in the classroom. Assisting students one-on-one and leading small groups will be part of your job description. Your goal is to make sure every student gets the support and direction they require to succeed. This is a full-time, long-term position.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to work with groups of children.

  • Provide regular progress updates to the class teacher and maintain records.

  • Attend to children’s personal needs, including minor first aid, and offer guidance on pastoral, social health, physical hygiene, and welfare matters.

  • Engage with teachers, caregivers, and parents to monitor student development.

  • Be a positive role model for students and staff.

To join us and be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.

  • Has experience supporting within UK schools.

  • Has experience working as a teaching assistant.

  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.

  • CVs must cover the full CV history.

  • Legal right to work in the UK.
