Electrical Shift Engineer - 55,000 - Moorgate

I am currently looking to speak to Electrical Shift Engineers for a Large corporate building inMoorgate. The need is for a Electrical Shift Engineer to come and join a 3 person shift team, and continue to provide an efficient service of maintenance and building services. Requirement is to be from an electrical background.

This company is globally recognised and is one where all engineers/leaders will learn and develop their career and skill set. On offer will be specific internal and external trainingopportunities.

As an Electrical Shift Engineer you will be required to work a Continental days and nights shift pattern, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.

Day to Day Duties

  • PPM, HV, UPS and AHU Electrical maintenance
  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner
  • Be proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve
  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported escalated as required.
  • Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues
  • Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client
  • Remain flexible with regards to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency
  • Be fully aware of relevant Health & Safety and general legislative matters
  • All plant will be monitored on a planned maintenance basis regularly as well as dealingwith all reactive repairs that arise on a daily basis. All applicants must come form a strong maintenancebackground and have the ability to deal with a fast paced commercial environment.

Skills Required:
The successful candidate must have;

  • With at least 3 years experience in building services
  • Core qualificationsare key in this role the minimumrequirement is City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition 2382
  • Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
