Right Now Group are currently partnered with an leader who are recruiting within their Field Service Engineering team in the Devon region after a continued period of sustained growth.

If you consider yourself to be suitable for a Field Service role with an Electrical Engineering focus and are open to travel then this could be the ideal role for you. Full training will be provided!

Ideal Experience:

- Basic Electrical skills relevant qualification i.e. City & Guilds - NVQ or equivalent.

- Previous experience in working with multimeters and understanding electrical circuits.

IMPORTANT: Full Training will be provided as well as a company Van - please note all applicants must have a full drivers license due to the nature of this role.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Weekly Hours: 8:00 - 16:00 (1 in 4 weekends required)

· Saturday's to be paid at time and a half

· Sundays to be paid at double time

Salary: £28k-£34k

Role Type: Full - Time Permanent

Location: Exeter/Plymouth/Newquay/Torquay/Taunton - Devon region

Job responsibilities:

  • Investigate technical issues and resolve along with realising opportunities appropriate to the business needs of the specific customer
  • Install, maintain and survey high end appliances B2B
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation
  • Complete paperwork accurately and on time
  • Provide support required for internal and external customers
  • Be able to manage tight deadlines for physical and administrative aspects of the role
  • Service levels to customer lead-times and KPIs

Desirable skills:

  • Basic Electrical experience, using multimeters and understanding electrical circuits
  • Electrical qualifications, NVQ's or equivalent
  • Previous Field Service or Engineer experience
  • Experience as an Electrical Apprentice or equivalent
  • Experience in working out on the road from a van or car
  • Good people/customer service skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours and days
  • Have good problem-solving acumen
  • Willingness to listen and learn
