Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Power Engineer to join their client's team in Plymouth. As a key member of the engineering department, you'll be responsible for developing and designing innovative electromechanical components and products in the field of low-voltage technology.

Your main responsibilities will include performing thermal and mechanical simulations of power distribution systems (busbars) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. You'll also provide technical product support, from concept design to series production, working closely with our talented team of engineers.

We're looking for someone with a strong educational background in mechatronics engineering, along with experience in a similar role. You should have a solid understanding of electromechanical systems, as well as experience in thermal and mechanical simulations.

  • Completed studies or training in mechatronics, electrical engineering
  • Experience of management of thermal and mechanical simulations
  • Knowledge of data models in 3D
