- Prepare and review financial statements for clients across various industries
- Conduct audits and manage site visits to clients
- Handle tax returns and computations for businesses and individuals
- Be the main point of contact for your clients, managing communications with HMRC and other agencies
- Train and guide junior staff, while managing workflow to ensure efficiency
- Collaborate with departments like tax, payroll, and bookkeeping to deliver comprehensive services
- Participate in management meetings and client consultations, offering innovative ideas for tax savings and business improvements
- Proven experience in auditing and practice management
- Qualifications via exams or solid experience in the field
- Strong interpersonal skills—whether writing, speaking, or face-to-face with clients
- Tech-savvy with a solid grasp of Xero, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Passion for training and developing junior team members
- Excellent organizational and client management skills
- Expertise in VAT, PAYE, CIS, and handling HMRC investigations
- Experience advising clients on business structures, payroll, and tax-saving strategies
