Overview

My client is a well established, modern regional firm of accountants based on the outskirts of Plymouth who are looking for an experienced Client Manager to come and join their successful team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and tailored solutions.
  • Lead client meetings and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, tax returns, and other compliance work.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff members.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of services and quality work within deadlines.
  • Stay up to date with accounting regulations and trends to advise clients effectively.

Skills and Experience

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong experience in managing client relationships within an accountancy or professional services firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax, accounting, and financial reporting standards.
  • A proactive and solutions focused approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team player, with leadership abilities and a desire to support others' development.
