Role: Client Manager
Location: PlymouthSalary: £40-45k
Overview
My client is a well established, modern regional firm of accountants based on the outskirts of Plymouth who are looking for an experienced Client Manager to come and join their successful team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and tailored solutions.
- Lead client meetings and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, tax returns, and other compliance work.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff members.
- Ensure the timely delivery of services and quality work within deadlines.
- Stay up to date with accounting regulations and trends to advise clients effectively.
Skills and Experience
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong experience in managing client relationships within an accountancy or professional services firm.
- Excellent knowledge of tax, accounting, and financial reporting standards.
- A proactive and solutions focused approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team player, with leadership abilities and a desire to support others' development.
