Finance Director - High-Growth Scale-UpAre you a commercially-minded finance leader looking to make a real impact in a high-growth business? Our client, a global player in their field, is entering an exciting phase of transformation and expansion in the UK & Europe under new leadership. They are seeking a dynamic Finance Director to drive their financial strategy and operations as they scale across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support rapid growth.
- Drive efficiency and innovation through financial operations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and stakeholder confidence.
- Oversee capital allocation, cash flow, and cost management.
- Provide strategic insights to shape business decisions and growth initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including shareholders, lenders & partners. Foster strong relationships with financial institutions & auditors.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Strong transactional expertise (acquisitions, capital raising, disposals).
- Hands-on leadership with a strategic and commercial mindset.
- Decision Maker, good business judgment when making decisions and always considers the relevance/impact of each decision on the business.
- Comfortable driving change and challenging the status quo.
