We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a growing team. This new role is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in the construction industry and expertise in Construction Industry Scheme (CiS). The successful candidate will manage two finance team members and contribute to continued growth.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee daily operations of the finance department.
- Manage and mentor two finance team members, ensuring professional development and efficiency in their roles.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, particularly with CiS requirements.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to aid strategic decision-making.
- Implement and streamline financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial management with overall business operations.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Minimum qualification: AAT Level 4, Part Qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE) in a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of Construction Industry Scheme (CiS) and its application.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing finance teams.
