Hays are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join the dynamic team of this education establishment.Role Overview: As the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of our organisation. You will be responsible for leading the finance team, ensuring financial stability, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our mission and goals.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage financial risks and opportunities to support organisational growth.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in managing a finance team.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in the higher education sector is desirable but not essential.
