Big Ant Recruitment is thrilled to be working with a well-known Football Club in the South West to find their next Facilities Operative. Are you a hands-on, proactive individual ready to help maintain the home of football excellence?

You'll be a key player in ensuring the Club's facilities are top-notch across multiple sites, delivering a safe and welcoming environment for fans, players, and staff alike. You’ll help make the magic happen – not just on matchdays but every day!

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Building maintenance expertise – you know your way around tools and repairs.
  • Health & Safety awareness – keeping things safe is second nature to you.
  • Top-notch problem-solving skills – you can fix just about anything!
  • Attention to detail – no task is too small for your eagle eyes.
  • Great communication & time management – you get things done and keep everyone in the loop.

Your Role On the Pitch:

  • Keeping facilities in prime condition with routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Supporting matchday operations by setting up and breaking down equipment.
  • Carrying out regular inspections and addressing issues promptly.
  • Working flexible hours, including all home matchdays.
  • Travelling between various club sites, from Haxter Court warehouse to the iconic Millenium Street pitches.

What qualifications are preferred:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • A technical qualification in plumbing, electrical work, or general maintenance.
  • Health & safety certification – safety first!
  • A valid driving licence (you’ll be on the move).

This role is working 35 hrs. Flexibility to work s flexible shift pattern to include out of ours.
