FP&A Analyst

Our client is actively seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis, with the option of full-time or part-time hours. This on-site position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate school drop-offs and other outside responsibilities.
As the FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making for the business.
This role will require close collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support the company's financial performance, making strong communication skills with non-finance stakeholders essential.
The responsibilities:
- Analyse financial data and create models for decision support.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis.
- Maintain and update financial databases and systems.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial records.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and insights.
- Track and analyse operational costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support strategic planning and long-term financial planning efforts.
The candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Part or fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA would be an added bonus.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar financial analysis role, with a focus on reporting and analysing large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software, Oracle Fusion or similar would be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
