Avocet Commercial Careersis recruiting for an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join a dynamic and fast growing HR and People team in Plymouth on an interim basis for a minimum of 2 months.

You will be joining the team at a particularly busy time where you will be providing administrative support across the full HR function. You will already have extensive administrative experience, ideally within HR/Recruitment, and you will be able to start quickly to join the team for the next few months as they recruit in to this role permanently.

Hybrid working is available, the team are based in Plymouth and you will need to work at least 3 full days in the office.

Responsibilities of the HR Administrator:

  • Provide general support to HR team members to includedata input andreporting,preparingand analysis of MI

  • Collating information and producing letters across a range of confidential matters

  • Coordinating interviews with candidates on behalf of our Recruitment Team

  • Recruitment onboarding, offer documentation and onboarding activities

  • Creating new employee records and personnel files

  • Dealing with first line enquiries in the HR mailbox and supporting employees with wellbeing and policy implementation

Requirements of the HR Administrator:

  • Demonstrable administration or secretarial experience, preferably within a HR/People/Recruitment setting

  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

  • Highly organised, with excellent planning and administration skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good team player and able to work effectively in a team environment

  • Fully proficient across the Microsoft Office suite with good Excel skills.
