Human Factors Engineer
Contract - 15 months (extendable)
Plymouth - Remote
up to £70 per hour

Join major global defense and aerospace company designs and manufactures advanced systems and technologies for sectors including aerospace, cyber, land, and sea defense.

This company need someone to support the engineering team within a high hazard nuclear regulated environment, and they are looking for someone to join them on over 15- month contract which is extendable on a remote basis with a couple of visits a month maximum.

You will be involved in providing support to the principal engineer whilst undertaking human factor assessments, safety assessments of high hazard systems, processes and facilities.

Skills needed:

  • Proven experience as a Human Factors Engineers
  • Familiarity with HF qualitative and quantitative HRA Techniques (HEART, THERP, APJ)
  • Strong knowledge of the applying human factors
  • Experience within a high hazard process industry (e.g. Nuclear, Defence or Petrochemical)


Due to the nature of the project work you will need to be based in the UK currently and eligible for SC clearance, otherwise you will not be eligible to partake in this contract role.
