Repairs Administrator Contract Opportunity via BRC Jobs:                Repairs Administrator  Location:        Devon – Hybrid Working   Sector:            Property and Housing Job Type:        Contract 6 Months Hourly Rate:   £13.43 - £15.05 PAYE     We are looking for a personable and skilled administrator to join social housing provider on a 6 month + contract. You will be assisting with the smooth running of daily operations, supporting supervisors and trades operatives to effectively deliver a high quality customer service for responsive repairs, planned works and voids to their properties.  Main Responsibilities:  
  1. In this position, you will be working closely with the property services team, supporting them with scheduling and booking in various works to social housing properties including: Responsive repairs, planned works, cyclical decorations and void property repairs.
  2. Responsible for planning schedules of responsive, void and planned works and issuing these to operatives ensuring that appointments are honoured, works are completed in the first visit if possible, and that voids are repaired in the quickest possible timescales
  3. This is a fast paced role where you will be ensuring operative’s diaries are fully booked with works and sometimes actioning urgent repairs cases
  4. Ensure all materials are available, delivered and ready on site, prior to operative’s arrival
  5. Identify and inform supervisors of resource shortages
  6. Assist supervisors in organising and arranging additional support if needed from sub-contractors
  7. Arrange the collection of waster after works have been completed
  8. Carry out general administrative duties to support the organisation in ensuring all works are logged and information is recorded
  Job Information:
  • Strong administration and organisation skills
  • Knowledge of using computer systems including Outlook
  • Customer service and/or social housing experience and planning/scheduling
