Senior CS&A Engineer

Job title: Senior CS&A Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: 50-70 per hour depending on experience
Location: Devonport
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- HNC/HND relating to field
- Experience leading a design team
- Commercial or defense project experience
- Highly regulated industry experience
- Incorporated engineer status or working towards it
- Awareness of relevant building structure codes, preferably seismic
- Demonstrable technical design development skills
- Ability to use relevant computer applications
-Civil engineering experience, civil design works

Role information:

- Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Liaise with staff and contractors to ensure risks and hazards are fully understood
- Allocate design tasks to the relevant parties
- Check produced design drawings and ensure they meet specifications
- Provide technical advice to the design team
- Contribute to the preparation and production of design drawings in line with time, cost and quality requirements
- Carry out design reviews
- Resolve technical queries
