A main contractor is recruiting a Site Agent for a specialist project in Plymouth constructing a new dock. The business is a multi-discipline company with projects upwards of 500m across several divisions including highways, building and rail however they also have a secure flow of work from frameworks for local authorities, National Highways, water companies and the Environment Agency.
Site Agent duties include:
- Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
- Production and integration of 3-week programmes
- Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
- Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
- Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
- Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
- Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
- Managing RFI's and Technical Queries
- Raising early warnings and compensation events
The successful candidate will join a long term contract assignment.
