DK Recruitment are recruiting for a Time & Attendance Administrator based in Devonport Dockyard for a 12-month contract.

Y9ou will be working with our client’s Shared Services team who are responsible for supporting the HR requirements of the business. The successful candidate will join a team that is responsible for the payroll input for their Devonport and Bristol sites, and the Time and Attendance for Devonport.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Time & Attendance Administrator to join our client’s People Centre. The primary role will involve managing employee Time and Attendance records, which includes but is not limited to changes in working hours, sick absences, holidays, annual leave, travelling time, and bookings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate data input for payroll, adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Assisting colleagues with Time and Attendance queries via email and phone.
  • Handling all queries professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborating with the People Centre team to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to employees and colleagues.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Competencies

  • Experience in Time and Attendance roles.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility and strong organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Proficiency in HR databases, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Educated to GCSE level, including English and Mathematics.
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards it would be advantageous but not essential.

This is a very fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, so attention to detail and accuracy are crucial. The role involves close collaboration with the HR Administration team, managers, and the wider HR community.
