Hunter Mental Health is currently working alongside an excellent Adults Crisis team and assisting in their search for a locum Social Worker. 

Key details of the position:

  • Job Title - Registered Social Worker (MUST have 2 years post AYSE experience)
  • Location - Plymouth
  • Duration - 3 months on going
  • Schedule -  Monday to Sunday, Shift work, 8am - 8pm
  • Start Date - February 2025
  • Rate of pay - £32 - £36ph (Umbrella)

 

This is an Adult Social Care position.

To be a Social Work England registered, qualified social worker with minimum 2 years post qualifying experience working with vulnerable adults.

To be able to work in a fully integrated community crisis response team.

Ability to undertake statutory Care Assessments to identify eligible needs and submit to panel for funding authorisation.

Ability to undertake Mental Capacity assessments.

Although mainly community based, hospital discharge experience would be valuable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

  • Current and valid registration with the SWE
  • Previous Safeguarding experience
  • Proven experience within a Social Working role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Car driver to travel across multiple sites
  • Fully on site and hybrid/remote working to be discussed during interview (team can offer up to 2-3 days remote)
