EYFS Teaching Assistant – Plymouth

Location: Plymouth
Salary: £80-£90 per day
Working Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education is seeking a talented and motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Plymouth. This is a permanent role, ideal for someone passionate about working with children in Reception or Key Stage 1.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised guidance and support to children as an Early Years Teaching Assistant.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.

  • Assist with daily classroom activities and deliver effective interventions to address behavioural challenges and encourage positive outcomes.
Requirements
  • Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
  • Experience working in EYFS or KS1 in nurseries or schools.
  • Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with children and staff.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable.
