GSL Education is seeking a talented and motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Plymouth. This is a permanent role, ideal for someone passionate about working with children in Reception or Key Stage 1.
Responsibilities- Provide personalised guidance and support to children as an Early Years Teaching Assistant.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
- Foster a nurturing environment to enhance social interaction and communication skills.
- Assist with daily classroom activities and deliver effective interventions to address behavioural challenges and encourage positive outcomes.
- Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
- Experience working in EYFS or KS1 in nurseries or schools.
- Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with children and staff.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet individual student needs.
