Day to Day of the Role:

  • Delivering engaging and informative Psychology lessons to KS4 & KS5 students, fostering a deep understanding of the subject.
  • Developing lesson plans that are well-structured and cater to the needs of a diverse student population.
  • Conducting assessments with a focus on providing constructive feedback and supporting student progress.
  • Collaborating with fellow educators to share best practices and enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational research and pedagogical techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field, complemented by a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience in teaching Psychology at both KS4 & KS5 levels.
  • A dynamic teaching approach with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a commitment to collaborative and professional development.
