TeacherActive is proud to be working with a brilliant SEND school in Plymouth that caters to students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). The school’s ethos is to create a vibrant and inclusive community for all students and staff, and they are looking for someone to help them on their journey.
The school is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) who is comfortable working with pupils who have PMLD. They can offer day-to-day, part-time, and long-term roles. The successful Teaching Assistant (TA) must support pupils both 1-2-1 and in small groups, demonstrate empathy, enthusiasm, and adapt to the needs of each pupil.
The Successful SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) will have:
- A passion for working with SEND students
- Experience working with children with additional needs/disabilities
- Experience working with students who have PMLD
