We have multiple opportunities for Teaching Assistants who can work part time, full time or on a supply basis within Plymouth. As a Teaching Assistant you get a chance to make a lasting impact in the lives of primary and special needs children in their learning and development.

Ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced working in the UK schools
  • Hold enhanced child DBS and on the update service
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Able to provide 2 professional references
  • Strong at communication and behaviour management

Responsibilities include:

  • Fostering and maintaining positive classroom environment
  • Providing individual and group support to the needy children
  • Assist the teacher in classroom management and activities
  • Monitor student behaviour, growth and development
  • Communicating the reports to the teacher, parents and the relevant authorities.
