The Role:
Your role will involve supporting students in their learning, promoting positive behavior, and assisting teachers in delivering effective lessons. You will be responsible for helping students with their academic progress, ensuring they are engaged and motivated throughout their lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of lessons, working with individuals or small groups of students.
  • Provide support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring inclusion in all activities.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Encourage student participation and foster enthusiasm for learning.
  • Assist with classroom setup, resources, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and staff members.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to ensure their educational development.

Skills & Experience:

  • A passion for working with young people and supporting their learning.
  • Previous experience in a classroom setting (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) would be an advantage.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to undergo one.
