About the Role
The HR Advisor will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding HR support across the business. From recruitment and employee wellbeing to grievances, disciplinaries, and process improvement, you will be a trusted advisor to employees and managers alike. Key Responsibilities
As a HR Advisor, you'll be responsible for:
- Operational HR Support: Providing advice and assistance on routine HR matters, policy queries, and self-service guidance for the HRIS system.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to interviews, and supporting new employee onboarding, including paperwork, checks, and inductions.
- Employee Relations: Handling basic investigations into grievances and disciplinaries, while supporting managers with more complex issues.
- Training and Development: Assisting with course enrolments, apprenticeship programmes, and company-wide training initiatives in collaboration with the Learning & Development team.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Overseeing key moments such as promotions, transfers, family leave, and exit processes.
- Wellbeing and Engagement: Supporting wellbeing initiatives and assisting with employee communications, surveys, and milestone recognition.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Essential:
- A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- A strong understanding of HR practices across multiple disciplines.
- Desirable:
- A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in the manufacturing sector.
- A mentoring or coaching qualification.
