Pensions Administrator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Administrator to join us on a 12 Month FTC - Maternity Cover!

  • Contract: 12 months

  • Rate: £18.75 per hour

    Hours: 37hours Monday - Friday 8.30 - 4.00

    Location: Plymouth (PL4 0SD) Onsite 5 days a week

What You'll Do

  • Organisation and scanning of the team's post.
  • Day-to-day use of the pension administration system
  • Answering telephone / queries
  • Preparation of correspondence
  • Calculating pension benefits
  • Maintaining computerised pension records
  • Updating spreadsheet and diary controls for work scheduling and membership statistics
  • Communicating effectively on Scheme related matters
  • Interpreting and validating documentation and correspondence received in respect of pension scheme rules.

About You

  • Good communicator and team player who is willing to learn.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and good numeracy, literacy and organisational
  • Administration experience is essential.
  • Comfortable working in high volume environments
  • GCSEs at grade A to C/4-9 in Maths and English Language or equivalent qualifications deemed to be at the same level or relevant experience demonstrating proficient use of English and Maths is desirable but not mandatory.
