Are you an experiencedPowder Coating Supervisorlooking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead a team of Powder Coating Operatives, ensuring high-quality standards, efficiency, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising a team of Powder Coating Operatives
- Allocating daily/weekly tasks and ensuring work orders are completed on time
- Overseeing machine setups and carrying out quality spot checks
- Maintaining high standards of organisation and housekeeping
- Ensuring shift discipline, including monitoring productivity and break planning
- Managing consumables and equipment within the department
- Recording Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data
- Championing safe working practices and implementing process improvements
- Conducting hands-on training for new team members
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company policies
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a Powder Coating Supervisor role
- Strong understanding of Powder Coating procedures and quality standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Physical stamina and strength to support operational tasks
Working Conditions:
- Factory floor-based role with exposure to noise and physical demands
- Standing for long periods, handling materials, and assisting the team as required
- Deadline-driven environment requiring attention to detail and accuracy
