Service Care Solutions is currently working on behalf of a dynamic local authority, based in Plymouth, which needs an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team.

The duration of this contract is on a 3-month rolling basis. They can pay a competitive rate of £50-£60ph umbrella!

Key Responsibilities of the Adult Social Care Lawyer role

  • Provide legal advice on complex issues related to Adult Social Care. This will include deprivation of Liberty Applications, Deputyship and the interrelation of the Mental Health legislation in Adult Social Care Proceeding
  • You will take up some ongoing caseload and fresh queries in these fields without any specific training.
  • Provide advice on ordinary residence.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 3 years of PQE in Adult Social Care law
  • Someone who has worked for a public sector organisation within an Adult Social Care legal team.
  • Experience of providing advice on ordinary residence is essential.
