Quality Engineer - Major Infrastructure Project - PlymouthRandstad are recruiting for a highly experienced Quality Engineer for a major infrastructure project in Plymouth. This is a contract role offering a competitive rate and the opportunity to work on a critical project within a leading contractor.Responsibilities:* Implement and maintain quality management systems and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

* Develop and implement quality control measures to minimize defects and ensure adherence to project requirements.

  • Identify and manage quality-related risks and issues, providing solutions and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation, including reports, records, and certifications.
  • Collaborate with project team members, including site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors, to ensure effective communication and quality assurance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality engineering within the infrastructure sector, with a strong track record of delivering quality assurance on complex projects.

* Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and methodologies.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.* Proficient in identifying and resolving quality-related issues, developing solutions, and implementing corrective actions.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high standards of quality.Desirable Qualifications:

* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards* Experience working with leading construction companies in the UK.
