This permanent, full-time role is perfect for those with significant experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, coupled with expertise in lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, proof load testing, visual examinations, service, and inspections of cranes, lifting and height safety equipment
- Respond to customer breakdowns, diagnose faults, and liaise with customers for cost-effective repairs
- Complete and return full, detailed service & repair reports
- Achieve competency as defined in the LEEA registration scheme
- Provide own tooling (larger workshop tools provided)
- Assist specialists in setting up and testing new products or processes
Job Requirements:
- Minimum NVQ3 in Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance
- Knowledge of LOLER requirements
- Competence in inspecting lifting equipment (LOLER)
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience in maintaining, repairing, and fault-finding gantry crane systems
- Hold LEEA foundation and Lifting accessories Diploma or equivalent
