A major business in the area are looking for a well established multiskilled engineer that can come in and make a difference to the work place. This role is a great opportunity to progress your career, and for the right candidate have Team Leader responsibilities. You need to have a Food FMCG Manufacturing bachground with proven experience.

 

Role Overview

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer you would be maintaining and improving equipment, ensuring reliability, and complying with health, safety, and environmental standards. This role is vital for the engineering team and operational processes to minimize equipment failure impacts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ3 / HND or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
  • IOSH certification (essential).
  • 18th Edition Electrical Regulations (BS7671).
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
  • Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and repair equipment.
  • Support the design, installation, and movement of machinery.
  • Conduct electrical fault finding and ensure equipment safety.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects.
  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly engineering plans.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with contractors as needed.
  • Risk assess activities to ensure safety.
