They are now looking for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in keeping their machinery running safely and reliably, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

About You:

You have ideally completed a time-served apprenticeship and bring a solid understanding of PLC systems, along with hands-on experience working with CNC machines. An IOSH qualification is preferred.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be engaging with colleagues at various levels. Additionally, you should be confident in leading projects and driving them to successful completion.

Responsibilities (Not Limited To):

  • Perform electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs, and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to address and resolve issues.
  • Manage the startup and shutdown of plant equipment, including steam and water systems.
  • Safely isolate electrical circuits and mechanical systems in compliance with regulations and site procedures.
  • Continuously review conditions, identify faults, communicate actions taken, and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Maintain effective communication and information handover between shifts and production personnel.
  • Provide a proactive and comprehensive service to the factory.

Key Qualifications:

  • Professional electrical or mechanical qualification and experience.
  • Expertise in machinery hydraulics, pneumatics, steam systems, and maintenance programs.
  • Experience with fault-finding CNC controls and ladder programs (preferred).

Shift Pattern:

  • Alternating shifts - 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday.
