The company, an international start up based in Plymouth, are innovating marine technologies that will be used in the defence sector. Following securing new contracts, they have a created a new role for a Production Manager to join the business to lead on the production strategy of a new line of products, draw up new processes and SoPs, analyse team requirements and hire a small team of production / assembly and test engineers.
This role would be ideal for either someone in a production leadership role that will relish working in a small business environment, and is seeking a role that will enable them to fulfil their ambitions of taking ownership for strategy and production team management.
Right now, there is no team to manage and there is lots of work to be done. Some of your colleagues are based overseas, so there will be the occasional meeting outside of usual working hours.
