- Thorough understanding of general engineering and hydraulic systems preferred or good engineering background in general mechanical engineering or marine/plant/agriculture equipment service work.
- BFPA level 1 & 2 certificate in mobile / industrial hydraulics or a recognised time served apprenticeship or proven experience
- A basic understanding of electrics/electronics would be of benefit, but not essential Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Full clean driving licence
- Work within the guidelines of the Company Quality Management System
- Carry out engineering work at the service centre, on-site, and at customer’s premises, as requested by the line management.
- Ensure that all work designated is completed to specification, in accordance with the Company’s procedures and quality standards.
- The work will involve 80% on site and 20% in the workshop
- Experience in bending/fitting and welding hydraulics pipe
- The role will have the need for some overseas travel paid for by the company
