Plymouth (Potential Hybrid Working)

£45,000 to £50,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Assurance 3x Annual Salary + Pension 5% Matched + Company Bonus + Company Discount Scheme and Westfield Health.

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30. Friday 08:00 - 15:30.

Mechatronics Engineer required for a highly successful manufacturer offering ongoing career development. This is a great opportunity to join a company who dominate their market as leaders with excellence at the heart of what they do.

The Mechatronics Engineer Role:

  •          Developing and designing electromechanical components and products in the field of low voltage technology.
  •          Conducting thermal and mechanical simulations of power distribution systems.
  •          Technical product support from design through to series production.
  •          Gathering documentation and making presentations.
  •          Active support of prototype construction and subsequent monitoring of tests.
  •          Supporting mechanical engineering team as required.

The Successful Mechatronics Engineer:

  •          Completed studies or training in mechatronics, electrical engineering or hold a similar qualification.
  •          Experience in low voltage DC distribution systems.
  •          Experience in the management of thermal and mechanical simulations of power distribution systems (busbars).
  •          Knowledge of data models in 3D.
