Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer required to join a leading supplier of water treatment and processing solutions.

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will provide repair, service, maintenance and installation of water treatment equipment at customer sites across Devon and Cornwall.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will have a field service background in electrical or mechanical engineering such pumps, filtration, fluid transfer, generators, irrigation units, oil separators, vacuum systems, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and / or similar electromechanical engineering equipment

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Role
  • To provide repair, service, maintenance and installation of water treatment equipment at customer sites across Devon and Cornwall.
  • The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of pumps, valves, filtration, oil water separators, irrigation units, and more water treatment related equipment.
  • Submit accurate visit and time sheets duly signed by the customer upon completion of the work.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments, including client and contractors undertaking works on 3rd party sites.


Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Requirements

  • Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Pump Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
  • The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Field servicing background in pumps, filtration, fluid transfer, generators, irrigation units, oil separators, vacuum systems, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and / or similar electromechanical engineering equipment
  • A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel across Devon and Cornwall
