You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment, alongside assisting the manufacturing team with production maintenance issues as required.

Description

As a Planned Maintenance Technician based on site in Plymouth you will:

  • Maintain equipment ensuring activities are completed on-time and executed according to the plan.
  • Work closely with Maintenance Planner to ensure maintenance tasks are well documented
  • Conduct regular maintenance audits of equipment, identifying potential continuous improvement opportunities to improve PM program effectiveness
  • Provide leadership for TPM activities as assigned
  • Support the organisation and preparation of spare parts and other applicable materials required to complete maintenance tasks for planned maintenance periods and equipment rebuild program.
  • Attend during plant shut down periods to perform maintenance activities.
  • Provide support to the manufacturing unit technical teams as required

Working hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am-4pm, Tuesday and Thursday 6am-2pm.

Profile

To be successful you will have:

  • Level 3 qualification in related field highly desirable
  • 5 years' + experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical practises and repair
