As the successfulProduction Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the Engineering team through a range of responsibilities. You will be setting up, operating, installing, maintaining, and continuously improving a variety of manufacturing equipment. You will perform planned and preventative maintenance, ensuring all machinery operates at optimal efficiency to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical faults swiftly to meet production targets.
  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish offline machinery
  • Set up and ensure all equipment operates in compliance with Quality Control, Health & Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the installation and validation of new equipment, ensuring smooth integration into production.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g. HND, NVQ)
  • Proven experience in maintenance and fault finding in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Methodical, organised, and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative team player who is passionate about healthcare.
