We are seeking aProduction Technicianto join the manufacturing team, focusing on technical and processing activities, including running machinery, equipment maintenance, and fault finding.

Working Hours:

  • Shift:11 AM - 11 PM (3 days on / 3 days off)

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to electro-mechanical faults, diagnosing and repairing issues promptly to meet production targets.
  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish offline machinery and ancillaries.
  • Ensure all manufacturing equipment operates according to Quality Control specifications and standards, maintaining acceptable quality and waste levels.
  • Adhere to statutory legislation and quality system requirements for process changes and equipment modifications.
  • Monitor in-process quality to address issues and prevent product holds.
  • Ensure all equipment and processes comply with Quality Control, Health & Safety, and Environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Operational, Engineering, and Quality Control teams to drive continuous improvement (e.g., SSU, 5S, CIAS, Near Miss).
  • Maintain equipment following scheduled plans to minimize downtime and keep within repair and spare part budgets.
  • Support engineering in the installation and validation of new equipment and ensure a smooth transfer to production.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and project teams as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into SAP.
  • Cover operational responsibilities such as:
    • Operating production machinery
    • Assembling products
    • Performing quality checks
    • Handling pallet release duties

Requirements:

  • Qualification inelectrical or mechanical engineering(e.g.,C&G, HND) or atime-served apprenticeship.
  • Experience inhigh-volume, highly automated manufacturingenvironments.
  • Proven experience inmaintenance and fault finding.
  • Methodical, organized, and self-motivated, with strongsafety awarenessof electrical, compressed air, and pressurized systems.
  • Excellentcommunicationandproblem-solvingskills.
