We are currently looking for a Production Technician on night shift (12 hour shifts) to join a leading manufacturing company based in the Devon area.
As the Production Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to assembly lines, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality output.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Production Technician will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical faults promptly using methodical problem-solving techniques.
2. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish machinery and ancillary equipment offline.
3. Ensure all manufacturing equipment is set up correctly to meet established Quality Control specifications and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
4. Monitor and improve line performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Production Technician, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, such as C&G, HND, or a time-served apprenticeship.
2. Proven industry experience in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical faults.
