gap personnel Exeter are recruiting for 2 Electrical Fitter on a temporary basis for our client based at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, Devon. Â
You will be joining a leading company that provides Engineering Services to the Defence, Security, Nuclear and Emergency Servies.
As an Electrical Fitter you will join a forward thinking team, ensuring the Dockyard is running as it should be. You will manage isolation of a variety of electrical equipment that could include distribution, command, and control systems, such as weapons, navigation, and communications.
You will work to electrical/engineering drawing and technical specifications as you isolate and make safe a variety of electrical systems for production to maintain, repair & overhaul.
About you:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available immediately.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Level 3 Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- College LV3 qualifications in electrics.
- Electrical installation/maintenance experience (preferably with experience of RN platforms).
Pay & Hours:
- £18.70ph-£19.67, paid weekly
- Monday to Thursday (0730am – 1530pm) & Friday 0730am – 1230pm, 35hours per week.
