Do you consider yourself a skilled film tutor?

Blue Skies Education are working closely with a provision for young people that offers exceptional facilities in the creative subject areas.The students do not attend mainstream school and have EHCPs for SEMH and ASC. The school we are recruiting a film tutor for,offer the creative arts as a learning platform;encouraging the students to express themselves through art, music anddrama.

Due to the nature of the learningneeds here, the class sizes are much smaller than mainstream thus affording the teachers and classroom based staff to optimise their ability to teach and inspire their children in each lesson.

They are a warm and welcoming school, with a supportive leadership team and a 'hands on'and compassionate headteacher. The successful candidate for this film tutor role will feel a real sense of fulfilment in this position.

Whilst this position starts asa temporary agency assignment, there is a possibility it could become permanent for the right candidate.

Experience workingwith children & the ability to build strong professional relationships with them is essential. Previous tuition/teaching experience is preferred and near-expertknowledge of working in a film production studio is paramount. Overall, positive behaviour management and mentoring will be required to really get the best out of the young people at this school.

Hours: (Apply online only), Mon-Fri term time only

The salary range depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
