Job title: Minute Taker Location: Central Plymouth Contract type: TemporaryHours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm Pay: £12.80 per hour Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Minute Taker on behalf of their client, to be based in Central Plymouth. In this role, you will be taking minutes for meetings, summarising information accurately to produce high-quality documents within departmental timescales. Further role responsibilities: * Supporting the independent chair in creating/updating written plans * Ensuring accurate recording of meeting attendees, including their contact details * Supporting the Independent Chairs in ensuring information is securely handled during the meeting and afterwards * Inputting data relating to the minutes accurately into the IT system * Carry out other duties appropriate to the role Candidates will need to have experience of: * Using Microsoft Office products and web-based software packages * Demonstrable administrative experience with an understanding of office procedures * Providing an effective and efficient customer service to both internal and external customers in line with policies and procedures * Working in a team * Minute and note-taking Essential skills required: * Ability to recognise significant content within discussions and summarise into a coherent record of the meeting * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to manage contact with service users tactfully, and to interact with a wide range of professionals at all levels * Ability to sustain concentration needed to minute or note-take lengthy meetings * Ability to seek support and manage the emotional impact of daily contact and information about people whose personal circumstances may cause distress * Literacy skills required including spelling, grammar and punctuation for dealing with letters, documents * Team working skills and the ability to work together with colleagues to deliver a cohesive, joined-up service to service users * Time management skills to prioritise work appropriately, be punctual and meet deadlines in order to deliver a good service * Accuracy with a high level of attention to detail If you are the right candidate for this roil please click apply now or call Vikki in the Acorn Plymouth office to discuss further
