Transport Administrator

Backline Logistics are seeking a Transport Administrator for our client in Plymouth, Devon for an immediate start.

Usual hours are Monday to Friday 04:45am to 14:30pm, 45 hours per week. You will be expected to work an occasional Saturday. Paid at 12.50 per hour PAYE.

This is an ongoing contract with temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to management team in the transport department.
• Provide excellent customer service to and communicate with drivers and customers.
• Monitor and provide support to drivers making deliveries.
• Debrief drivers upon their return to the office.
• Report vehicle issues and breakdowns.
• Maintain and complete timely and accurate records for the transport department.
• Produce reports and statistics for the management team on a weekly basis.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of administration and data input.
• Computer literate has previous experience of Microsoft office and excel.
• Dedicated to accuracy and attention to detail.
• Previous experience within a transport environment is desirable but not essential.
