We are seeking a Payroll Assistant for one of our Plymouth based clients. As a key member of the payroll team, you will manage the end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, maintaining compliance and assist with administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities will include:

Process payroll data accurately and on time.

Calculate deductions, holiday entitlement and employee changes.

Reconcile and correct payroll discrepancies.

Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations.

Generate payroll reports for earnings, taxes and pensions.

Address employee payroll concerns and update records.

Assist with general office administration when needed.


Essential Experience / Qualifications and Attributes Required:

Experience in payroll processing.

Proficient in Microsoft applications and exposure to Brightpay, Sage and Xero.

Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Able to accurately multitask under pressure.

CIPP qualification preferred but not essential.
