Gas Engineer (Commercial)

My client who is looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join their team. This will be working on FM and Small works projects mainly on the commercial side. The work will involve Services, Repairs, Maintenance, Breakdowns and Upgrades. The main office based on the outskirts of Plymouth. The role will come with a fully equipped van, tablet and there is an immediate start. You will be paid door to door with over time paid also

The role:-

Carrying out gas services / repairs.

Accurate completion of Gassafe. certificates and other documentation including reporting of defects.

Ensuring all works carried out in line with gas regulations and in compliance with relevant H&S legislation, policy and safe working practices.

Able to work alone or as part of a team and using own initiative.

Available as part of a standby rota covering out of hours gas/ plumbing emergency repairs.

To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.


What you will need:-

Clean and full driving licence.*

Current CCN1/CPA1/CKR1/HTR1/WAT1/CEN gas qualifications.*

Proven experience of working within H&S legislation.*

Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ.*

Experience of working in a customer focused environment.

Strong verbal, written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

High level IT literacy and keen adopter of digital technology and flexible working methods.
