Compliance EngineerJoin a leading engineering firm in Plymouth as a Compliance Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work within a specialist team that delivers complex engineering projects across multiple disciplines including electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering. Utilising state-of-the-art technology and well-equipped workshops, my clients team ensures that all projects meet exacting standards, budgets, and timelines.

Day-to-day of the role:•    Develop and execute compliance programs, complete documentation to achieve product and engineering compliance.•    Collaborate with engineering planning and design teams to prevent compliance issues by reviewing design data and developing compliance policies.•    Identify and resolve product and engineering design issues by addressing both short-term and long-range concerns.•    Research and identify applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes.•    Adapt and modify compliance engineering options and develop new compliance methodologies.•    Conduct and witness compliance tests.•    Resolve compliance issues by recommending product and process changes.•    Document compliance processes by completing approval applications, recording test results, and maintaining a compliance database.•    Maintain professional and technical knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organisations.•    Implement product testing, process analysis, and ensure adherence to standards set out in design specifications.•    Create quality management plans, collation of LTQR packs, inspection test plans and address quality queries/issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering knowledge desirable.•    2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in compliance.•    Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and quality control.•    Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.•    Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.•    Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks.
