We are seeking an energetic, warm, and caring Lead Teacher for an outstanding Primary School's Support Centre to join their supportive team. This role primarily involves working within the Support Centre to aid teaching staff and the SENDCo in delivering outstanding education to children with SEND. This position is crucial in planning and delivering Early Health Care Plans (EHCPs), supporting transitions, and promoting the school’s ethos and values in daily activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

Oversee the planning and delivery of EHCPs.Support smooth transitions for children during the day.Manage Teaching Assistants and other classroom support staff across the centre.Develop specialist areas as directed by the Headteacher.Promote and embed the school’s ethos and values in everyday activities.Create a stimulating, attractive, and safe environment for children.Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.Develop and implement positive behaviour strategies with children, committed to inclusion.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent teaching skills with a proven track record of outstanding pupil progress.Experience in a leadership role within an educational setting, preferably with SEND focus.Ability to provide a stimulating, attractive, and safe environment for children.Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.Flexible and committed to teamwork.Strong commitment to inclusion and pupil development.
