Slinger/Crane Supervisor

Are You an Experienced SLINGER with Crane Supervisory experience looking for an exciting Job Opportunity?

DK Recruitment is seeking trained and a qualified Slinger who has Crane Supervisory experience for a 2 year contract for our client based at Devonport Dockyard. This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects within the Warships & Submarine Business units, with potential opportunities to work on other projects as well. 

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum of two years of Slinging experience with Crane Supervisory experience and experience with Ships and/or Submarines is desirable.
• Knowledge: Understanding of clients role as a business is necessary, with a desirable understanding of procedures and processes.
• Safety: Positive attitude towards Health and Safety, with a willingness to challenge unsafe acts.
• Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Recognised slinging qualifications include:

• NVQ2 Moving of Loads
• NPORS402 Slinger Signaller
• CPCS A40 / Blue
• Opito

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and hold SC Security clearance is a requirement of this role.
• Candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment prior to the offer of employment.
