A globally known FMCG company in the Plymouth area are looking for an Engineering Team Lead to join their department. This role will involve managing a team of multi skilled engineers, planning maintenance, supporting continuous improvement, coaching team members and developing the maintenance across the department, improving reliability and efficiencies.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coaching a team of multi skilled engineers
  • Working alongside the maintenance manager to plan maintenance activities (repairs and breakdowns)
  • Training and development of staff and keeping skills up to date
  • Supporting all continuous improvement objectives
  • Manage and executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities
  • Thorough record keeping of all maintenance / engineering tasks - SAP

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Manufacturing / FMCG industry experience
  • HNC or a degree on engineering/related field
  • 5 years of more experience within manufacturing or technical environments
  • Electrical and mechanical engineering skills
  • Experienced in man management
